Sarasota, Florida, United States, December 2024 – JJ Girt has been appointed as the Sr. Director, Talent Acquisition at Xylem. In this role, JJ will lead Xylem’s global Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (CoE), driving innovative strategies to attract and retain top talent worldwide. His leadership will support Xylem’s mission to address global water challenges by fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce.
JJ brings over a decade of progressive HR leadership to his new position. Most recently, he served as Director, Talent Acquisition at Xylem, where he spent six months spearheading key initiatives in talent strategy and recruitment.
Prior to this, JJ served as Sr. Manager, Talent Programs at Evoqua Water Technologies, leading a hybrid team of 10 recruiting professionals. He developed comprehensive strategies in talent attraction, college recruiting, and DEI initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives across a global scale.
Earlier, JJ held roles such as Senior Manager, Human Resources and Sr. HR Business Partner at Evoqua, where he played a pivotal role in supporting business units worth over $100M and a workforce of 800 employees. His strategic partnerships with leadership contributed to enhanced talent management and operational excellence.
JJ’s HR journey began at ProAct Services Corporation as Director of Human Resources, where he successfully led the organization through significant change, including its acquisition by Evoqua. He also held HR leadership roles at Howard Companies and JD Byrider, where he demonstrated expertise in HR strategy, employee benefits design, and compliance.
