United Kingdom, April 2025 – Jo Bean has joined Origin as the Head of People. In her new role, Jo will lead Origin’s people and culture initiatives, overseeing talent management, organizational development, and strategic HR programs as the company continues to scale its global operations powered by its AI-driven benefits platform.
Prior to joining Origin, Jo Bean was serving as Head of People at Dayshape, where she played a critical role in aligning human resource initiatives with business strategy. She focused on workforce planning, talent management, organizational culture, and leadership development to optimize organizational performance and employee engagement.
Before Dayshape, Jo held the position of Chief People Officer at Cushon, where she successfully created and delivered HR strategies focused on talent acquisition, remuneration policies, onboarding initiatives, and managing several TUPE transitions, including Cushon’s acquisition by NatWest.
Earlier in her career, she was Head of People at Darwin, where she developed and implemented global HR strategies spanning the UK, Europe, APAC, and the US. She introduced salary review processes, training and development initiatives, and managed the HR transition following Darwin’s integration into Mercer.
Jo also spent over a decade at Samsung Electronics UK, where she progressively advanced from HR Advisor to Head of Reward – UK & Ireland, managing compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, and leading flexible benefits programs for a multi-site workforce across the UK and Ireland.
