Johanna Cornwell has recently embarked on an exciting new chapter in her professional journey, joining Quanterix as the Global Head of Talent Acquisition.
This move marks her return to the Life Sciences industry, where she is set to leverage her vast experience in talent management and acquisition to drive Quanterix’s growth and innovation forward.
Cornwell brings to Quanterix a wealth of experience, having honed her skills in various leadership roles across the talent acquisition spectrum. Her career spans over two decades, during which she has contributed significantly to the human resources and talent strategies of several leading companies, including SharkNinja, PerkinElmer, Mass General Brigham, Sanofi, and AstraZeneca. Her last role before joining Quanterix was as the Global Head of Talent Attraction (Vice President) at SharkNinja, where she was instrumental in shaping the talent landscape to support the company’s strategic goals.
Quanterix, a pioneer in digitizing biomarker analysis to advance precision health, has seen substantial growth and is now serving 36 countries with over 800 customers. The company’s Simoa Technology, which allows for the measurement of biomarkers at levels previously undetectable, is at the forefront of advancing science across five therapeutic areas. Cornwell’s arrival comes at a pivotal time as Quanterix prepares to launch a new Careers Site and embark on a hiring spree to support its double-digit growth.
Reuniting with key members of the leadership team, including Erica Bell, Chief People Officer; Masoud Toloue, CEO; and Jamie Graceffa, ODCP, VP of Talent Management & Culture, Cornwell is poised to make a significant impact. Her appointment is not just a testament to her individual capabilities but also highlights the strength of Quanterix’s Global HR Leadership Team—a group of “good humans who get things done.”
