New York, New York, United States, May 2024 – John Arato has been appointed as the new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) – Head of Global Sales at ID TECH. He will be leading the global sales strategy and driving revenue growth for the company from his base in the New York City Metropolitan Area.
John brings extensive experience in sales and revenue management to his new role at ID TECH. Prior to this, he served as the Senior Vice President of Sales at PAX Technology, Inc. (North America) from May 2021 to May 2024. In this position, John led the sales team in the New York City Metropolitan Area, contributing significantly to the company’s growth and market penetration in North America.
Before joining PAX Technology, John was the Vice President and General Manager – Retail Solutions at MagTek for nearly 18 years, from August 2003 to May 2021. At MagTek, he played a crucial role in managing and expanding the retail solutions division, establishing strong client relationships, and driving the company’s success in the retail technology sector.
John’s career also includes a significant tenure at Hypercom Corporation as a Senior Vice President from March 1994 to August 2003. During his time at Hypercom, he was instrumental in leading the sales operations and developing business strategies that enhanced the company’s market position.
Earlier in his career, John was the Director of Sales at American Express Company from December 1987 to March 1994. At American Express, he gained valuable experience in sales leadership and strategy, which laid the foundation for his subsequent roles in the technology and financial services industries.
