Bar Harbor, Maine, United States, September 2024 – John O’Reilly has been named Associate Director Talent Acquisition at The Jackson Laboratory. In his new role, John will be responsible for leading talent acquisition efforts to support the institution’s mission of advancing biomedical research and discovering genomic solutions for disease.
ohn has over 15 years of experience in talent acquisition and human resources. Prior to his current role, he served as Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition at The Jackson Laboratory, where he spent two years overseeing recruitment strategies to meet the institution’s global hiring needs.
Before joining The Jackson Laboratory, John held the position of Associate Director of Talent Acquisition at Boston Medical Center for six months, where he led efforts to attract top talent in the healthcare field. He also served as Manager of Talent Acquisition at the same organization for over three years, managing a team responsible for large-scale hiring efforts across various departments.
John’s experience also includes time at Tufts Medical Center as a Senior Human Resources Representative, where he was involved in workforce development, employee engagement, and addressing complex HR issues. His early career includes a significant tenure as Senior Recruiter at Boston Children’s Hospital, where he played a crucial role in recruiting for high-demand positions in healthcare.
