Singapore, August 2024 – Johnny Teo has been appointed as Group Head of Performance & Rewards at Ascentium, a Hillhouse-backed global corporate services provider. In this role, Johnny will lead initiatives to enhance performance management and reward structures across Ascentium’s global operations, ensuring that excellence is recognized and incentivized within the organization.
Johnny joins Ascentium with over 15 years of experience in rewards management and strategic HR leadership. Prior to this, he was the Global Head of Total Rewards and Mobility at ASMPT Ltd, where he managed global compensation and benefits structures across more than 30 countries. He was responsible for harmonizing rewards systems during mergers and acquisitions, and leading mobility strategies for senior executives.
Before ASMPT, Johnny held the role of Group Head of Total Rewards, Performance Management & Global Mobility at Zuellig Pharma, where he led key HR initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region, including salary structures, executive remuneration, and performance management systems. His extensive experience also includes senior roles at Allianz as Regional Rewards & Mobility Manager Asia Pacific, where he managed short-term incentive plans and executive compensation.
Johnny’s earlier career includes strategic HR roles at Singtel and consulting positions at Carrots Consulting and Korn Ferry Hay Group, where he specialized in job evaluation, salary benchmarking, and long-term incentive plans.
