Omaha, Nebraska, United States, August 2024 – Josh Perkes has joined Union Pacific Railroad as the new Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role, Josh will lead HR initiatives, focusing on human capital management, executive development, HR consulting, and legal compliance to support the company’s strategic goals and workforce capabilities.
Josh Perkes has started his role as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Union Pacific Railroad, based in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. He will lead HR strategies to drive organizational success.
Previously, Josh served as the Vice President at Loup Logistics for three and a half years, where he was instrumental in providing transportation and logistics solutions. His tenure there focused on maximizing shipping strategies through creative solutions, innovative technology, and reliable expertise.
Josh has also held various leadership roles at Union Pacific Railroad over an 18-year period. His positions included Assistant Vice President – Talent Management, Assistant Vice President – Customer Experience, Sr. Director Customer Communications and Resource Planning, and Sr. Business Director in different departments. In these roles, he was responsible for talent management, employee engagement, customer experience strategies, and marketing analysis.
