Singapore, December 2025 — Josh Procter has started a new role as APJC Head of Talent Acquisition for AWS at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he will lead talent acquisition strategy and delivery across Asia Pacific, Japan, and China (APJC). In this role, he is responsible for building and scaling hiring capabilities across all AWS lines of business in one of the company’s most dynamic global regions.
In his current position at Amazon Web Services, Josh Procter leads the APJC Talent Acquisition function, overseeing workforce strategy across multiple countries and business lines. His mandate includes enabling cloud growth through strong hiring ecosystems while supporting AWS’s innovation agenda in the AI-driven era.
Prior to this appointment, Josh Procter served as International Talent Acquisition Leader – APJC & EMEA at AWS, where he was responsible for designing and building a centralized international sourcing function supporting more than 25 countries across APJC and EMEA. During this period, the function exceeded its FY24 hiring targets by 123 percent, reflecting strong execution and scale.
Earlier, he held the role of APJC Talent Acquisition Leader – Professional Services at AWS, managing recruiting teams across Australia, China, India, Japan, Korea, and Singapore. Under his leadership, the APJC Consulting practice experienced sustained growth, significantly exceeding hiring goals across multiple fiscal years.
Josh’s earlier career includes senior talent acquisition leadership roles across AWS, HSBC, Barclays, and global recruitment consultancies, where he built cross-regional hiring strategies, led large recruiting teams, and supported digital and technology-led workforce transformations across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and global markets.
