Atlanta, Georgia, United States, September 2025 – Emory Healthcare has announced the appointment of Josh Schroeder as Director, People Team – Service Lines. In this role, he will be responsible for service delivery strategy, talent development and deployment, change management, and process improvement in collaboration with the People Team across hospitals, clinics, and the university system to support laboratory, pharmacy, and radiology teams.
Josh brings nearly two decades of people leadership and HR expertise to Emory Healthcare. Most recently, he served at IHG Hotels & Resorts for almost seven years. As Senior Human Resources Business Partner – Americas Growth Functions, he worked with leadership across sales, commercial, revenue management, and operations to align organizational structures, staffing, training, and succession planning with business objectives. He also played a pivotal role in employee relations, compliance, and strategic workforce management.
Earlier at IHG, he served as HR Business Partner – Americas Corporate Hotel Operations, where he provided HR support for 80 managed hotels and 40 Army lodging hotels, driving engagement, training, and large-scale organizational transitions, including furlough and re-entry management during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Before joining IHG, Josh spent 12 years with Trader Joe’s as a Corporate Regional HR Business Partner / Operations Manager, where he led multi-store operations, boosted profitability, enhanced customer experience, and designed performance and development frameworks for large teams. He earlier worked with Target as Executive Team Leader and Wegmans Food Markets as Team Leader, gaining strong foundations in operations, leadership, and people management.
