Chicago, Illinois, United States, November 2025 — Julie Gurican has been appointed as Global Head of People at Loadsmart, a technology-driven logistics solutions company transforming how businesses plan, optimize, and execute freight movement. In her new role, Julie will lead Loadsmart’s global people strategy, driving organizational culture, talent development, and employee experience as the company continues its international growth and digital expansion.
Before joining Loadsmart, Julie Gurican spent nearly seven years at BenchPrep, where she held leadership roles culminating as Vice President of People. During her tenure, she led initiatives across talent acquisition, learning and development, DE&I, employee engagement, and performance management, helping shape BenchPrep’s award-winning workplace culture recognized by Inc. and Crain’s Best Places to Work in Chicago.
Prior to that, Julie spent close to nine years with Enova International, where she advanced through several strategic HR roles including Director of People. She managed a team of HR business partners and recruiters, overseeing all people-related functions for technology, corporate, and contact center teams. Her leadership contributed to Enova’s growth from 500 to over 1,400 employees, focusing on scalable HR systems, compensation frameworks, and succession planning.
Earlier in her career, Julie honed her recruiting and talent management expertise as a Senior Technical Recruiter at Instant Technology and Recruiting Lead at Enova, building a strong foundation in workforce planning and tech talent acquisition. She began her professional journey with Secura Insurance and Target, where she gained early exposure to people operations and leadership programs.
