Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, September 2025 — Justin Rice has been promoted to Chief Product & Technology Officer at CBTS, where he will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of the company’s product and technology portfolio. In this leadership role, he will oversee the integration of AI, cloud, networking, and security into differentiated offerings while partnering with sales and delivery teams to ensure execution excellence.
Justin has built a strong career of nearly a decade at CBTS. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Interim CRO, leading a $1B US Sales business and delivering the company’s strongest bookings performance in five years. Prior to that, he was Vice President – Solution Consulting, and earlier served as Sr. Director / Head of Pre-Sales, where he worked closely with enterprise clients to deliver strategic solutions and revenue growth.
His earlier career at CBTS includes roles as Director, SD-WAN & NaaS, Solution Lead – SD-WAN & NaaS, and Enterprise Solutions Architect, where he was instrumental in shaping advanced technology solutions, product roadmaps, and architecture strategy for enterprise clients.
Before joining CBTS, Justin spent almost five years at Powernet Co., where he held leadership roles including Product Development Manager and Manager – Network Voice Engineering, leading product lifecycle management and ensuring high-availability infrastructure. He began his career as Lead Voice Engineer at Powernet and earlier served as Sergeant, Information Management & Support in the United States Marine Corps, where he was responsible for digital network and information systems operations, maintenance, and mission-critical support.
