Los Angeles, California, United States – November 2024 – Kailey Blahut has joined The Mechanical Group as Vice President Human Resources. With extensive expertise in human capital management and organizational development, Kailey will lead HR strategies that enhance talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational culture.
Before joining The Mechanical Group, Kailey served as Human Resources Director at Clearlake Capital Group, where she managed HR operations, developed employee-focused initiatives, and refined the organization’s human capital strategies. She also held the role of Human Resources Manager at Clearlake, focusing on talent acquisition, employee relations, and process improvement to support the firm’s workforce.
Kailey previously worked as a Human Resources Manager at Perr&Knight, where she contributed to HR process improvements and managed organizational strategy efforts that supported the firm’s overall business objectives. Her responsibilities included enhancing HR practices and streamlining employee processes.
At Insomniac Events, Kailey advanced from Human Resources Coordinator to Human Resources Generalist, overseeing onboarding, benefits administration, and company culture initiatives. She led several projects aimed at employee engagement and was responsible for managing internship programs and facilitating social events to strengthen workplace culture.
Early in her career, Kailey held roles in client services at Clay Lacy Aviation and gained initial HR experience as an intern at B&B Manufacturing, where she supported talent development initiatives and assisted in recruitment processes.
