With over two decades of diverse experience across HR leadership, culture transformation, and talent strategy, Kapil brings deep insight into building future-ready organizations.
Prior to joining Aequs, Kapil served for over seven years at Tata Advanced Systems Limited, where he played a pivotal role as Head of Business Human Resources for Aero Structures and Aero Engines. His leadership was instrumental in shaping the people agenda across business units, implementing talent transformation frameworks, and leading digitalization efforts in HR. He also led the Customer Experience Framework and Acquisition Strategy for aerospace and defense segments in India and Europe as Business Leader.
Before his tenure at Tata, Kapil held HR leadership roles at Tata Tele Business Services, Aditya Birla Retail Limited, and Reliance Communications, where he focused on performance management, leadership development, and capability building. His early career began with Pfizer, where he drove brand and revenue growth and established strong distribution processes across key geographies.
Kapil holds an MBA in Human Resources from XLRI Jamshedpur and is a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) expert. Widely regarded as a culture architect with a people-first mindset, he is known for his coaching expertise and his ability to align HR strategies with evolving business needs.
His appointment at Aequs comes at a pivotal time as the company continues to scale in the aerospace and manufacturing sectors. Kapil is expected to drive strategic HR transformation, enhance leadership development, and strengthen employee engagement across the organization.
