Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India, June 2025 – Karthik Mulakaluri has been promoted to Senior Director – Talent Development at Omega Healthcare Management Services. In his expanded role, Karthik will continue to lead the company’s talent development and talent strategy function, driving a culture of learning, leadership, and behavioral development initiatives across Omega’s global footprint in India, the Philippines, the US, and Colombia.
Over the past nearly four years at Omega Healthcare, Karthik has played a pivotal role as Director – Talent Development, spearheading learning & development, competency mapping, succession planning, and high-potential talent programs. His focus on future-ready leadership pipelines and vertical as well as lateral career growth has strengthened Omega’s talent agenda across multiple geographies.
Prior to joining Omega Healthcare, Karthik served as Strategic Advisor, Leadership Coach and Guest Faculty at Vivekananda Global University, where he advised on large-scale community initiatives, mentored start-ups, and delivered guest lectures in HR to management students. He also acted as an external speaker on HR and leadership topics, amplifying his influence in the academic and social sectors.
Karthik’s earlier experience includes an impactful tenure at Accenture in India as Assistant Vice President – Human Resources. He led HR for the North America Products Industry Group, conceptualized the globally recognized ‘myPassion’ design thinking framework, and managed HR initiatives for up to 30,000 employees. His innovative work has been recognized with awards for HR innovation and leadership enablement.
He also served in senior HR leadership roles at Cognizant Technology Solutions and IBM India Pvt Ltd, leading HR for large business units and driving talent management, compliance, and learning & development across diverse employee populations. His career foundation was built at Oracle, Vodafone, and Eureka Forbes, where he managed HR functions, talent acquisition, and employee lifecycle processes for significant regional operations.
