Tempe, Arizona, United States, June 2025 – IMVize has announced the appointment of Rod Ibieta as its new Chief People Officer. With a distinguished career spanning over four decades across diverse industries and academic settings, Rod brings a wealth of experience in people strategy, executive development, and organizational transformation to IMVize. In this role, he will lead the company’s HR and people operations, focusing on strengthening organizational culture, driving talent strategies, and supporting IMVize’s ambitious growth in enterprise technology and digital solutions.
Rod Ibieta’s most recent experience includes a brief period of retirement with Taylor’s End Studios, following his role as Human Resources Director at Amkor Technology, Inc. In this capacity, he was instrumental in designing engaging, people-centered workplaces, fostering employee satisfaction, and supporting business success through robust HR practices.
Previously, Rod served as Human Resources Manager at Maxim Integrated, where he supported the Automotive Business Unit and the Chandler site, further strengthening his expertise in strategic human resources leadership and organizational learning. His extensive tenure at Arizona State University as Associate Faculty specializing in Learning and Technology—spanning more than 18 years—demonstrates his commitment to talent development and academic collaboration.
Rod has also held senior roles at Arizona Public Service (APS), where he was Senior HR Business Partner for critical business units, as well as global HR leadership roles at Cytec Aerospace Materials (Cytec Solvay Group), where he managed a $5M annual budget and led key M&A initiatives. Earlier in his career, Rod drove succession planning, executive coaching, and leadership development as Division HR Manager at Freescale Semiconductor, and managed all HR functions at the University of Advancing Technology.
His additional experiences at Intel Corporation included the creation and execution of global management and leadership programs, as well as major organizational development initiatives, demonstrating his deep commitment to both employee engagement and business growth. This remarkable journey—spanning roles in consulting, technology, academia, and manufacturing—positions Rod Ibieta as a transformative HR leader ready to make a significant impact at IMVize.
