Zurich, Switzerland, July 2026 — McKinsey & Company has elected Anna Mattsson as Senior Partner. In this role, she serves as Global Co-Leader of Separations & Spin-offs and leads the Strategy & Corporate Finance Practice in Switzerland, advising organizations on complex transformations, corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and value creation initiatives.
Alongside her leadership role at McKinsey, Anna also serves as President of Advance – Gender Equality in Business, where she champions gender equality and inclusive leadership across the business community in Switzerland.
Prior to joining McKinsey & Company, Anna served as Operating Advisory Partner at Gyrus Capital for a brief period, advising portfolio companies on operational transformation and value creation initiatives.
Earlier, she built an accomplished career spanning more than 14 years with Deloitte Switzerland, progressing through several senior leadership roles. During her tenure, she served as Global Financial Advisory Head of Post Merger Integration, Head of EMEA Life Sciences M&A Community of Practice, Managing Partner – Talent, Head of M&A Integration & Separation Advisory, and Director – Post Merger Integration. She played a pivotal role in leading global integration and separation advisory services, M&A strategy, leadership development and talent strategy while advising multinational organizations on complex transformation programs.
Earlier in her career, Anna held marketing and business development roles with Sony, gaining international experience across product marketing, business development and marketing communications. She also worked with CNC Communications & Network Consulting AG in communications consulting.
Anna’s early leadership journey included serving as Vice President of AIESEC in Singapore and President of AIESEC Sweden, demonstrating her commitment to leadership development and global collaboration from the outset of her career.
