Karl Riehl most recently served as Director of Practice Management at Epstein Becker & Green, P.C. in the Greater New York City Area. Over a span of nearly 13 years, Karl held various leadership roles, including Director of Legal Recruitment & Professional Development. In these roles, he was instrumental in shaping the firm’s legal recruitment strategies, professional development programs, and diversity initiatives. His leadership in these areas helped establish Epstein Becker & Green as a top destination for legal talent.
Before joining Epstein Becker & Green, Karl was a key figure at Squire Patton Boggs, where he served as Regional Manager of Professional Recruitment & Retention. During his three years at the firm, Karl led recruitment and retention efforts across multiple offices, ensuring the firm attracted and retained top-tier legal professionals.
Karl’s earlier career includes roles as Professional Development & Training Professional at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP, where he focused on employee relations and training programs, and as Director of Career Services & Admissions at Seton Hall University School of Law, where he played a significant role in shaping the career paths of law students and graduates.
Karl has also held leadership positions within the NALP Board of Directors, where he served as Immediate Past President and Chief Elected Officer, contributing to the strategic planning and diversity initiatives in the legal profession.
