Singapore, January 2026 — Kartik Chandrasekhar, who most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer at Kellanova, has stepped into a new role as Chief Growth (Marketing & Sales) Officer for Mars Snacking, covering Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and ANZ. He will be based in Singapore and will lead growth across some of the company’s most diverse and strategically important markets.
Commenting on his new role, Kartik Chandrasekhar shared, “I’m energised by the opportunity ahead: bringing together strong brands with diverse teams. In his current position at Mars, Chandrasekhar is responsible for shaping and executing integrated growth strategies across marketing and sales, strengthening brand-led growth, and driving commercial excellence across multiple geographies with distinct consumer and market dynamics.
Prior to joining Mars, he led Kellanova as Chief Commercial Officer, where he was responsible for commercial strategy and execution across markets, helping steer the organization through a critical phase following its global transition. His tenure at Kellanova built on a strong track record of leading large, complex consumer businesses with a sharp focus on growth and execution.
Before Kellanova, Chandrasekhar spent over two decades with Unilever, holding a series of senior global and regional leadership roles. These included serving as General Manager at Hindustan Unilever Limited, Head of Oral Care and Skin Cleansing for Developing & Emerging Markets, and Global Brand Vice President for Lifebuoy and Pears. He also held the role of Global Brand Director – Lifebuoy, building deep expertise in brand building, portfolio strategy, and emerging market growth across South Asia and global markets.
With extensive experience spanning global brand leadership, commercial strategy, and multi-market growth across FMCG and snacking categories, Kartik Chandrasekhar’s appointment is expected to further strengthen Mars Snacking’s growth agenda across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and ANZ.
