Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom, May 2025 – Kay Best has been appointed as Head of People Partnering at Robertson Group, a leading UK-based construction, infrastructure, and support services company. In this new role, Kay will lead the strategic people partnering agenda across the organization, focusing on strengthening workforce engagement, developing leadership capabilities, and enhancing people-centric practices aligned with the Group’s mission of building sustainable communities and enduring infrastructure.
Prior to this, Kay served as Senior People Solutions Consultant at ScottishPower, where she was responsible for designing and delivering people solutions that addressed business challenges, supported transformation goals, and fostered a culture of collaboration and innovation. Her role contributed significantly to the company’s broader HR transformation and people-first strategies.
Kay brings over eight years of rich experience from ISG, where she held progressive roles, including Head of HR and HR Business Partner. Her tenure at ISG was marked by the successful implementation of change programs, organizational development initiatives, and talent strategies across regional operations, helping the company navigate a period of dynamic growth and transformation.
Earlier in her career, she worked as Store Personnel Manager at Wm Morrison Supermarkets Plc for nearly eight years. In this capacity, she managed end-to-end HR operations at the store level, gaining critical experience in frontline people management, recruitment, and employee relations in a fast-paced retail environment.
