Chicago, Illinois, United States, March 2025 – Keely Sibbald has stepped into the role of Director of People & Culture at Smokeball – Legal Software, a global leader in legal practice management technology. In her new position, Keely will oversee strategic people initiatives, organizational development, and culture-building efforts as Smokeball continues its rapid growth across markets.
Keely joins Smokeball after an impactful six-and-a-half-year tenure at Daniels Health, where she held progressive leadership roles, most recently as Executive Director of People & Culture, North America. In this role, she led a regional HR team, driving organizational alignment, engagement, and talent development initiatives across the continent.

Prior to Daniels Health, Keely served as Human Resources Manager at Marketstaff Inc., where she oversaw comprehensive HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, and compliance. She also briefly worked as an HR Consultant at Raila & Associates, P.C., supporting human capital strategies for the firm’s legal and administrative teams.
Keely’s earlier roles included Manager of Organizational Development at Chicago Meat Authority, where she focused on talent planning, leadership development, and succession strategies, and Human Resources Manager at Pastoral Artisan Cheese, Bread & Wine, a boutique food retailer where she built the HR function from the ground up. She began her HR career as a Human Resources Specialist at Chicago Meat Authority, gaining foundational experience in HR operations.
