Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, April 2025 – Keiran Dodd has been promoted to Acting Chief People Officer at Preply, taking on a key leadership role overseeing all aspects of the company’s global people operations. In this expanded role, he will continue to guide the People & Talent strategy, while also shaping Preply’s long-term organizational culture, leadership development, and employee experience across its global footprint.
Keiran has been with Preply for nearly five years, most recently serving as Global Vice President – People & Talent, where he led a team of 40+ professionals across multiple countries and drove strategic initiatives in talent acquisition, people analytics, workplace experience, and culture. He also previously held senior roles including Global Senior Director of Talent and Global Head of Talent Acquisition at the company, significantly strengthening Preply’s recruitment and people functions during a phase of rapid growth.
Prior to joining Preply, Keiran was the Global Head of Talent (Executive Recruitment) at Zalando, where he built the executive recruitment function from scratch and scaled executive hiring tenfold within a year. He was also responsible for managing a team focused on People & Organization hiring and played a pivotal role in shaping Zalando’s diversity strategy and assessment models for leadership positions.
Earlier, he worked at OLX Group as Head of Talent Acquisition, where he centralized the global TA function and implemented scalable diversity strategies. He also held several leadership positions at Booking.com, including Senior Global Talent Acquisition Manager for Product & Technology, where he expanded the TA team by 300% and oversaw the hiring of 900+ professionals annually.
In the earlier part of his career, Keiran served in technical recruitment and consulting roles at Avuteq, Hydrogen Group, and HSBC, where he built foundational expertise in talent strategy, recruitment operations, and executive search for global organizations.
