Al Khobar, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, October 2024 – Khalid A. Al-Omoor has been appointed as Head of Human Resources at Arabian Machinery & Heavy Equipment Co. (AMHEC). In this role, Khalid will oversee strategic and operational human resources functions, driving the company’s HR policies, workforce management, and employee development initiatives to support the growing needs of the business in the crane hiring, heavy lifting, and equipment rental sectors.

Prior to joining AMHEC, Khalid A. Al-Omoor served as the Group Human Resources Director at Al-Othman Holding Company for nearly 3 years. In this role, he was responsible for managing HR functions for more than 30 Oil & Gas companies and joint ventures. He successfully led efforts to enhance policies and procedures, develop organizational departments, and implement key employee retention strategies, saving over 30 million Saudi Riyals through government initiatives. Khalid also played a critical role in workforce development, training over 550 employees and preparing leadership programs for high-potential Saudi employees.

Before his tenure at Al-Othman, Khalid was the Group HR Manager at ATCO Group for 3 years, where he worked across diverse business lines including Oil & Gas, Marine, Manufacturing, and Logistics. He developed and implemented HR frameworks that ensured compliance with labor regulations, enhanced employee retention programs, and streamlined organizational structures.

Earlier in his career, Khalid worked as the HR Director at Rashed Abdul Rahman Al Rashed & Sons Group (RAR) for nearly 3 years. His focus was on recruiting qualified candidates, overseeing compensation programs, and implementing HR policies that aligned with ISO 9001 standards. Khalid also had notable HR roles at Saipem Taqa Al-Rushaid Fabricators Co. Ltd. and KMC Holding, where he managed recruitment, performance evaluations, and HR policy development for large-scale projects.
