Frederick, Maryland, United States, March 2026 — Kim Whiteley has started a new position as Chief Executive Officer at MeeDerby. This appointment marks an important milestone in her long-standing journey with the company, where she has spent nearly two decades contributing to its growth and leadership in the executive search and workforce solutions space. With deep expertise in executive search, client relationship management, business development, and operational leadership, she is well positioned to lead MeeDerby into its next chapter.
Before being appointed Chief Executive Officer, Kim Whiteley served as President at MeeDerby. In that role, she oversaw daily operations, supported the entire team in meeting and exceeding goals, and drove new revenue growth through both new and existing clients. She also played an active role in supporting the staffing industry through volunteer leadership initiatives, including involvement with ASA’s Women in Leadership Council, the Mentor/Mentee Program, and the Direct Hire Council.
Prior to serving as President, she was Senior Vice President and earlier Vice President at MeeDerby. In these leadership roles, she managed senior-level client relationships nationally for staffing, workforce solutions, and professional services firms. She also conducted executive, senior management, and senior-level sales searches, while directing the activity of recruiters and sourcers supporting search assignments. Earlier in her tenure, she served for many years as Director and Executive Recruiter, building a strong foundation in executive search and talent leadership.
Before joining MeeDerby, Kim Whiteley built an extensive leadership career at Spherion, where she served in several business and sales leadership roles over more than fourteen years. Her roles included Managing Director, Sales Director, Branch Director Technology Group, National Account Manager, and Area Manager/Region Account Manager. Across these assignments, she led branch operations, managed full and joint P&L responsibilities, directed sales strategy, developed recruiting and business plans, oversaw technology and staffing practices, and managed major client relationships, including large multi-city staffing contracts. These experiences gave her broad expertise in revenue growth, customer partnerships, team leadership, and workforce solutions.
With a career spanning executive search, staffing, workforce solutions, branch management, account leadership, and sales strategy, Kim Whiteley brings a strong combination of industry experience and leadership continuity to her new role.
