Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States, March 2025 – Kimberly Coons has been appointed as Director of Talent & Onboarding, National Retail Division at Cornerstone Home Lending. With a career spanning over two decades in talent development, training, and HR leadership, she brings extensive expertise in onboarding strategies, employee engagement, and organizational development to her new role.
Kimberly Coons has been with Cornerstone Home Lending for over five years, previously serving as Regional Talent & Onboarding Director. In this role, she played a crucial part in building talent acquisition strategies, developing training programs, and enhancing onboarding experiences to drive workforce engagement.
Before joining Cornerstone, she spent seven years at BOK Financial, where she held the role of VP, Manager, Mortgage Training and Communications. She was responsible for designing learning curriculums, managing training initiatives for mortgage operations, and aligning HR strategies with business goals. She also worked closely with senior leadership to improve employee engagement and executed compliance and regulatory training programs.
Prior to BOK Financial, she served as VP, Staff Development Manager at Mabrey Bank for over eight years, leading bank-wide training programs, leadership development, and merger integration efforts. She has also held leadership positions at Armstrong Bank, where she managed staff development, training, and HR operations.
