Biswas also served as International Business Lead for the Americas at Sumitomo Chemical India Ltd prior to his tenure at Atul Ltd, showcasing his adeptness in sales and business development across diverse markets including LATAM, C. America, USA, Mexico, and the Caribbean. His strategic initiatives during this period propelled the company to achieve a notable CAGR of 35%, demonstrating his capacity to drive substantial growth and develop strong collaborative relationships within the Sumitomo group companies.

His rich experience also spans over 15 years with Rallis India Limited, a Tata Enterprise, where as Business Manager for APAC, Biswas achieved remarkable growth in both top-line and bottom-line figures. His strategic insight and comprehensive market understanding led to significant advancements in APAC through market visits and mapping.

Biswas’ early career involved field science and product development, where he gained hands-on experience in managing pests and diseases across various crops, contributing to his deep-rooted knowledge in agricultural sciences.
