Before taking the helm at DFIL, Komal served as Managing Director at Havmor Ice Cream Pvt Ltd, where he drove strong market expansion, innovation, and brand growth, positioning Havmor as one of India’s most admired ice cream brands. His tenure was marked by customer-centric initiatives, improved supply chain efficiency, and the successful launch of new product categories.
Previously, at McCain Foods India Pvt Ltd, he played a transformative role as Director of Sales, Marketing & Supply Chain and earlier as Head of Sales, where he led multi-channel growth strategies, built high-performing teams, and strengthened McCain’s footprint across India.
Komal’s career also includes impactful leadership roles at PepsiCo, where he served as Director – Sales, Beverages & Foods and Vice President – Beverages (Modern Trade & On-Premise). Prior to PepsiCo, he was Sourcing & Merchandising Head (FMCG) at Reliance Retail, and earlier held key positions at Reckitt Benckiser and Dabur India Limited, managing diverse portfolios in trade marketing, brand management, and sales development.
