Pune, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 — Komal Choudhari has stepped into the role of Senior Director – Performance & Culture – India at Energy Exemplar. This marks a significant career milestone as she expands her leadership charter beyond Talent Acquisition, a function that has been her core passion, into the broader mandate of Talent Engagement and Culture for India. In her new role, she is expected to shape performance frameworks, strengthen cultural anchors, and build engagement mechanisms that support Energy Exemplar’s growth and mission in a rapidly transforming energy landscape.
Over more than four years with Energy Exemplar in Pune, Maharashtra, India, Komal Choudhari has progressed through a series of increasingly senior roles in Talent Acquisition and now Performance & Culture. She has grown from Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition, then to Manager – Talent Acquisition, and most recently to Senior Director – Talent Acquisition – ICE & APAC, before assuming her new India-wide performance and culture mandate. Across these roles, she has been central to building capability pipelines and strengthening the company’s people agenda in a high-growth, tech-driven environment.
Prior to joining Energy Exemplar, Komal worked with ZiMetrics Technologies in Pune as Lead Recruiter for about one year. In this role, she focused on technology and data-centric hiring, supporting advanced analytics and digital talent needs, and sharpening her experience in niche and specialized recruitment in the tech ecosystem.
Earlier, she served as a Recruiter with Aera Technology on a contract assignment in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area for several months, contributing to full-cycle hiring for a product and platform-led business. This role further reinforced her understanding of product-driven organizations and high-calibre tech talent acquisition.
Before that, Komal Choudhari spent close to two years as a Technical Recruiter at Xeenius, LLC in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area, where she helped bridge complex business requirements with emerging technology skill sets. Her work there focused on building talent pipelines that supported digital transformation and integration mandates.
She began her career journey with nearly four years as Executive – HR (Recruitment) at EXFO in Magarpatta City, Pune, where she managed end-to-end recruitment for the R&D centre across multiple business units. From sourcing and screening to coordinating interviews and conducting HR rounds, this foundational experience gave her a strong grounding in recruitment operations for IT and telecom skills—laying the base for her later leadership in Talent Acquisition and now, Performance & Culture.
