Toronto, Ontario, Canada, March 2025 – Kourtney Shelton has been promoted to Chief People Officer at Redstone Agency Inc., taking on the organization’s top HR leadership role after more than a year of impactful service as Vice President, People and Culture. In her new position, Kourtney will lead the strategic direction of Redstone’s people operations, including talent development, culture-building, and organizational effectiveness, as the agency continues to grow its influence in event and association management across global markets.
Prior to joining Redstone, Kourtney served for over three years at Burlington Public Library as Director, People & Organizational Development, where she led strategic workforce initiatives, employee engagement programs, and organizational transformation efforts within the public sector.

Earlier, she worked at McMaster University as a Senior Human Resources Strategic Partner, where she supported senior leadership on people strategies aligned with academic and operational goals. She also brought her HR expertise into the classroom, teaching Employment Law at Sheridan College for over three years, and continues to teach HR Strategic Planning at Mohawk College, contributing to the development of future HR professionals.
Kourtney’s HR journey also includes leadership roles at Trillium Wholesale, Chronology Human Resources, Regal Tent Productions, and ParaMed Home Health Care, where she developed a wide-ranging expertise in employee relations, workforce planning, and HR systems, spanning both consulting and in-house environments.
