Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, September 2024 – Kripa Krishnamoorthy has joined Synchrony as the Sr. Vice President, Asia Talent Strategy. In this role, she will focus on developing and implementing strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent across Asia, enhancing Synchrony’s competitive advantage and organizational culture.
Kripa Krishnamoorthy has recently transitioned to Synchrony, bringing her extensive experience in HR strategy and talent management to her new role. At Synchrony, she is responsible for shaping talent strategies across the Asia region and driving initiatives that foster a high-performance culture.
Prior to joining Synchrony, Kripa served as Director & Regional Senior HR Advisor at Citi Global Wealth, APAC, where she was instrumental in leading HR initiatives for the APAC region. During her tenure from April 2022 to February 2024, she focused on enhancing talent management practices and supporting business growth through strategic HR interventions.
Kripa’s career also includes her role as Director, Head HR, Global Consumer Banking, South Asia at Citi. From June 2018 to May 2022, she played a pivotal role in managing HR functions for a large consumer banking operation, including driving diversity initiatives and overseeing talent development programs across multiple locations in India.
Before her time at Citi, Kripa was the Global Head of Human Resources at Firestar Diamond Group, where she led HR transformation and global talent strategy from April 2017 to March 2018. Her work involved building out leadership teams and supporting the company’s expansion into new international markets.
Kripa’s earlier experience includes her role as Head HR Institutional Clients Business & Global Functions, Citi South Asia from November 2014 to March 2017, where she successfully managed HR operations across multiple business units and contributed to key diversity and talent initiatives.
