Vadodara, Gujarat, India, July 2025 — Krishnan G has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer at Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited, where he will lead the company’s financial strategy and governance. Based in Vadodara, Krishnan will be responsible for enhancing Alembic’s financial performance, supporting strategic initiatives, and driving long-term value creation across its domestic and global operations.
Krishnan brings over 20 years of experience in financial leadership across diverse industries, including pharmaceuticals, telecom, and manufacturing. Prior to joining Alembic, he was Vice President at Syngene International Limited, where he led corporate development, M&A, business finance, commercial strategy, investor relations, and financial planning. His efforts were instrumental in shaping Syngene’s growth roadmap and delivering value to stakeholders.
Before Syngene, Krishnan held key roles at Tata Trusts, Vodafone India, and Reliance Industries Limited, contributing to large-scale business transformations, strategic deals, and financial process development. During his tenure at Vodafone, he managed M&A initiatives, IPO planning, and long-range business forecasting, and was recognized with the “Mega Star” Award for his outstanding contributions. At Reliance, his financial modelling work received appreciation directly from the Chairman, Mr. Mukesh Ambani.
Krishnan started his career with Sundram Fasteners, where he streamlined financial reporting, handled corporate finance, and played a key role in legal and compliance activities, including mergers and international accounting.
He holds distinguished qualifications from premier institutions. Krishnan is a Chartered Accountant (All India Rank 46 in Final, 40 in Intermediate), a Company Secretary (All India Rank 3 in Intermediate), and a Cost Accountant (All India Rank 9 in Final), having earned gold medals and top scores in multiple professional exams. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Madras University.
