Washington, District of Columbia, United States, August 2026 — Deloitte has appointed Kwasi Mitchell as Global Technology & Transformation Business Leader and Consulting Management Chair, expanding his leadership responsibilities as the firm continues to help organizations accelerate digital transformation, technology innovation, and business growth across global markets.
In his new role, Kwasi Mitchell will lead Deloitte’s global Technology & Transformation business while serving as Consulting Management Chair, driving strategic priorities, strengthening consulting capabilities, fostering innovation, and supporting clients as they navigate complex technology, cybersecurity, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
With more than two decades of leadership experience spanning technology consulting, cybersecurity, digital transformation, business strategy, operational excellence, and innovation, Kwasi has built an exceptional career advising government agencies, multinational corporations, and global enterprises on technology modernization and business transformation.
Kwasi has been associated with Deloitte for more than 19 years, serving as a Principal since 2007. Throughout his tenure, he has advised security executives and business leaders across the public and private sectors, helping organizations prioritize emerging risks, benchmark capabilities against industry best practices, and implement strategies that strengthen resilience and operational performance. His work has supported clients across the financial services, telecommunications, technology, energy, civilian, and national security sectors.
Prior to assuming his current global leadership role, Kwasi served as Managing Principal – Growth & Purpose, where he helped shape Deloitte’s strategic growth agenda while advancing initiatives focused on innovation, purpose-driven leadership, and client value creation. Before joining Deloitte, he spent more than four years with ExxonMobil Refining & Supply Company, serving as Global Project Development Advisor and Senior Researcher, where he led global capital investment planning, research programmes, and product development initiatives supporting major international operations.
