Antwerp, Flemish Region, Belgium, May 2024 – Laura Janse has joined Sibelco Group as the Chief Human Resources Officer and Head of Communications. With a rich background in HR and communications, Laura is set to lead Sibelco’s human capital strategy and communication efforts, supporting the company’s growth and development.

Laura Janse
Laura’s most recent role was as Executive Vice President HR and People Strategy, VP HR Global Industrial Relations at Alstom, where she developed a four-year People Strategy Plan and managed global industrial relations. Prior to that, she served as CHRO at Bombardier Transportation, leading the people strategy for the organization. She also held the position of VP Human Resources WE, IIMEA, SEA & Australia & COO BT Transportation, focusing on HR strategy and capability upgrades in multiple regions.
Laura’s extensive experience includes roles such as VP HR Global Operations and Quality and Human Resources Director for various regions and functions at Bombardier, as well as HR leadership positions at Alstom Ferroviaria SPA, ZF Group, and Finmeccanica (Leonardo). Her expertise spans project management, business acumen, data-driven insights, and people analytics.
