Chester, England, United Kingdom, December 2024 – Laura Tejada has joined Valto as the Director of People and Talent, where she will lead efforts to establish robust HR and talent strategies to support the company’s growth journey. Laura’s focus will be on enhancing leadership development, employee value propositions (EVP), and overall talent management to propel Valto into its next phase of success.
Laura Tejada brings over 15 years of extensive experience in HR, talent management, and leadership development. Prior to her current role, Laura served as a Scale-Up Consultant and Leadership Trainer at Sky Bounders, where she delivered end-to-end people solutions and executive coaching to organizations undergoing rapid growth. She spearheaded initiatives such as “The Fuel Leadership Programme,” merging leadership training and coaching to create sustainable workplace performance and wellbeing.
In 2024, Laura was a Compensation, Rewards, and Skills Matrix Strategist at CTS, where she played a pivotal role in implementing SFIA skills matrices, enhancing EVPs, and integrating AI-powered performance management tools. Her efforts resulted in significant cost savings and improved employee engagement.
Earlier, Laura held the position of Global Head of Employee Experience and People Strategy at DirectID, where she championed diversity and inclusion by building a leadership team with 65% female representation and drove a 75% reduction in recruitment costs through an in-house strategy. She also successfully elevated employee experience scores and introduced innovative learning and development plans.
