Helsinki, Uusimaa, Finland, September 2025 – Laura Viita has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer at Digital Workforce Services Plc, a leading provider of business automation and technology solutions. In her new role, Laura will lead the company’s financial strategy, investor relations, and performance management during a critical phase of digital expansion and growth across Europe and beyond.
Prior to joining Digital Workforce Services Plc, Laura Viita served for over three years at WithSecure, most recently as Vice President, Controlling, Investor Relations and Sustainability, where she played a strategic role in aligning financial operations with corporate sustainability and market engagement goals. Before this, she was Investor Relations Director, further strengthening her engagement with stakeholders and the investment community.
Laura spent nearly two years at Posti Group Oyj as Group Financial Controller, where she was instrumental in leading financial planning and operational efficiency efforts across the organization. Her contributions included improvements in fiscal governance and strategic forecasting.
Her earlier role as Corporate Controller at HMD Global and concurrently as CFO of TNS Mobile Oy spanned over three years, during which she supported global operations and spearheaded initiatives to improve reporting standards and cost structures. She also held the role of Head of Group Accounting, overseeing the company’s consolidated financial operations.
Laura’s foundational experience was shaped by her nine-year tenure at Nokia, where she held progressive finance leadership positions across regions including the Middle East and Africa. Roles such as Head of Projects, Integration & Transformation, Head of Revenue Recognition, and Head of Financial Accounting underscore her deep expertise in financial control, global integration, and operational finance.
She began her career at PwC as a Senior Manager in Assurance, followed by a notable stint at the European Court of Auditors as Attachée du Cabinet, where she honed her capabilities in regulatory oversight and audit.
