Bolingbrook, Illinois, United States, April 2025 – Ulta Beauty has announced the appointment of Lauren Brindley as its new Chief Merchandising and Digital Officer, reinforcing the company’s commitment to innovation and growth across both its in-store and digital channels. In her new role, Brindley will be responsible for shaping Ulta Beauty’s brand-building assortment strategy, while also overseeing key areas such as e-commerce, wellness, and marketplace initiatives.

Brindley brings over two decades of deep expertise in the beauty and retail sectors, with a proven track record of global leadership. Most recently, she served as Global Chief Executive Officer and Board Director at Revolution Beauty, where she led the company’s strategic transformation and expansion across international markets.

Prior to that, Brindley spent more than seven years at Walgreens, where she held the position of Group Vice President – Beauty and Personal Care, spearheading significant advancements in the retailer’s beauty category and consumer engagement strategies across the U.S.

Earlier in her career, she held multiple leadership roles at Boots UK, including Vice President, Customer Proposition, and Senior Director, Head of Prestige Beauty & Fragrance. Her tenure at Boots was marked by brand innovation, merchandising transformation, and enhanced customer experience in both the UK and international markets.

Brindley’s career began in the Tesco Food Division, where she held buying and graduate marketing roles. Her early experience in food retail evolved into a successful career in beauty and personal care, culminating in leadership roles that spanned the UK, Asia, and the United States.
