London, England, United Kingdom, November 2024 – Lauren Dengate has taken on the role of Global Head of Talent Management at Regal Cineworld Group, where she will lead efforts to shape the organization’s culture, vision, and values while overseeing learning and development, employee engagement, strategic talent management, and diversity initiatives. Dengate’s appointment marks a significant step in the organization’s ongoing commitment to fostering excellence across its global workforce.
In her new position, Dengate will be responsible for aligning the group’s talent strategies with its overarching goals, ensuring best-in-class leadership development, performance management, and recruitment practices across a workforce of 28,000 employees operating in the UK, US, Ireland, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, and Israel.
Before joining Regal Cineworld Group, Lauren Dengate served at Lendlease for over six years. Most recently, she was the Head of Talent and Development, Europe and Americas, where she managed talent strategy and leadership initiatives for 12,000 global employees while implementing region-specific solutions for 2,000 employees across Europe and the Americas. Her critical contributions included talent retention, succession planning, and culture enhancement programs.
Earlier, as Head of Talent and Development, Europe, Dengate developed robust frameworks for leadership development, graduate recruitment, and employee engagement, strengthening the company’s overall performance and organizational capability.
Dengate also held the position of Talent Manager – Europe, where she was pivotal in managing talent reviews, career development programs, and succession planning. Her efforts directly impacted the retention and growth of high-performing talent in a highly matrixed organization.
Prior to Lendlease, Dengate worked as a Senior Consultant Psychologist at Zircon Management Consulting Ltd, leading talent development and assessment projects for global organizations like Visa Inc., Royal London, and Philips. She designed and validated psychometric tools and authored research papers on critical talent management topics.
