City of London, England, United Kingdom, January 2026 – Lauren McCafferty has taken on a new leadership role as Talent Acquisition Director – Head of Early Careers, Professional and Associate Hiring at Deloitte.
In this mandate, she leads Deloitte UK’s volume hiring strategy across early careers, professional and associate hiring, overseeing approximately 7,500 roles annually while driving agile, future-ready talent acquisition solutions aligned to the firm’s growth ambitions.
Lauren McCafferty brings a strong talent acquisition leadership journey across Deloitte and PwC. Prior to her current role, she served as Director of Early Careers at Deloitte UK, leading early careers talent acquisition and learning strategies nationwide. Earlier, she held the role of Head of Early Careers Recruitment at Deloitte UK, building scalable campus and early talent hiring models and strengthening future workforce pipelines.
Before joining Deloitte, Lauren spent over eleven years at PwC UK, where she progressed through multiple leadership roles including Head of Student Recruitment, Student Recruitment Senior Manager, Early Identification Leader, Student Recruitment Manager – Midlands, and Senior Graduate Recruitment Officer. Her tenure was marked by building award-winning graduate recruitment models, driving social mobility and diversity hiring strategies, and leading large recruiter teams delivering future-ready workforce pipelines.
She began her professional journey at Deloitte as Graduate Recruitment Officer, and also held recruitment leadership roles at Ernst & Young and Reed Graduates, building strong foundations in campus and early careers hiring.
