White Plains, New York, United States, December 2024 – Lauren Occhipinti has taken on the role of Director of People Analytics & Strategy at Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG). Lauren will leverage her extensive background in strategic planning, data analysis, and leadership to enhance VEG’s people strategies and analytics framework.
Lauren joined Veterinary Emergency Group in January 2021 and has steadily advanced through roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, she served as Senior Manager of People Analytics & Strategy, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership and analytical skills to support cross-functional collaboration and strategic decision-making.

Previously, Lauren was a Talent Development Manager, focusing on learning management and data-driven storytelling to drive organizational growth. She began her journey at VEG as a Leadership Development Associate, laying the foundation for her expertise in strategic communication and business analytics.
Before joining VEG, Lauren had a successful teaching career, serving as a Mathematics Teacher at the NYC Department of Education and La Scuola d’Italia. Her strong foundation in education and analytics has been pivotal in her transition to people analytics and strategy.
