In this pivotal role, Julie will align Lakeside’s people initiatives with business priorities, leveraging her decades of experience to elevate employee engagement, streamline HR processes, and build scalable people practices in support of the company’s expanding operations.
Julie brings a strong legacy of HR leadership, having most recently served as Vice President of Human Resources at Rack Room Shoes for over seven years. There, she led a wide range of strategic initiatives across a 5,000-employee retail workforce, including HR digital transformation, compensation restructuring, pandemic response, and the merger of Rack Room Shoes with Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse. Julie was also instrumental in developing hybrid work strategies and modernizing leave and compliance systems.
Before that, Julie held HR leadership roles at Bank of America Merchant Services, Precision Castparts, and Northrop Grumman, where she led large-scale workforce realignments, M&A integrations, and culture initiatives. Her background in operational excellence and employee-centric policy design has made her a sought-after advisor in the HR community.
