Leigh van Minnen Appointed as Head of Talent Acquisition, Denmark at Novonesis

Copenhagen, Capital Region of Denmark, November 2024 – Leigh van Minnen has joined Novonesis as the Head of Talent Acquisition, Denmark, bringing a wealth of expertise in talent strategy, workforce planning, and recruitment innovation. In her new role, van Minnen will lead talent acquisition efforts to align Novonesis’ workforce with its mission of leveraging biosolutions to create sustainable value for industries and communities globally.

As the Head of Talent Acquisition, Denmark, van Minnen will focus on driving employer branding, developing long-term sourcing strategies, and enhancing recruitment processes to ensure Novonesis attracts and retains top talent in the region. Her leadership will be pivotal in furthering the company’s mission to transform industries with biology-driven solutions.

Before joining Novonesis, Leigh van Minnen served as Head of Global Talent Acquisition at FLSmidth, where she oversaw international and local recruitment strategies, optimized talent systems, and introduced a hybrid recruitment model to support business needs. Her tenure of nearly a year and a half was marked by her ability to align global talent strategies with organizational goals.

Previously, van Minnen held the role of Director, Head of Talent Acquisition Denmark & GBS India at Novo Nordisk, where she managed end-to-end talent acquisition across Denmark and India, driving recruitment excellence for critical business functions. Her nine-month tenure saw impactful collaboration across regions.

Van Minnen also worked with Vestas, where she served as Head of Talent Acquisition, NCE, and later as Head of Talent Acquisition, APAC. Over three years, she implemented global talent strategies across the regions, focusing on employer branding, cost optimization, and vendor management. Her leadership ensured the effective alignment of recruitment strategies with Vestas’ business objectives.

Earlier, she held leadership roles at ManpowerGroup Talent Solutions, Randstad Sourceright, and KellyOCG, managing recruitment teams and driving operational performance across Asia Pacific and other regions.
