Toronto, Ontario, Canada, June 2025 — Lindsey Swaisland, CHRL, has been appointed as Head of Human Resources for Canada at Stryker, a global leader in medical technologies. With nearly two decades of extensive HR leadership experience across prominent organizations, Lindsey takes on this pivotal role to lead Stryker’s people strategy across its Canadian operations.
Prior to joining Stryker, Lindsey served as Human Resources Director, Business Partnership (Commercial and Enabling Functions) at Lactalis Canada, where she played a critical role in shaping HR strategies that aligned with commercial growth and functional excellence.
Before her stint at Lactalis, she spent over seven years with Mondelēz International, holding several leadership roles including Human Resources Director, HR Lead for Commercial, and HR Manager. During this time, she significantly influenced the company’s talent and performance culture across Canada.
Earlier in her career, Lindsey held senior HR roles at Softchoice, General Mills, and Shoppers Drug Mart, where she led key organizational development and talent initiatives. Her foundational HR experiences include impactful roles at The Sernas Group, The Region of Durham, George Brown College, and Paramount Canada’s Wonderland, giving her a well-rounded understanding of HR functions across various sectors.
A Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL), Lindsey is recognized for her expertise in organizational development, HR business partnering, and building high-performance cultures.
