Renjith Nair Appointed as Director Operations and SCM, South Asia at Avery Dennison

Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, February 2026 — Renjith Nair has started a new position as Director Operations and SCM, South Asia at Avery Dennison, marking a significant milestone in his nearly 12-year journey with the global materials science and digital identification solutions leader. In February 2026, Renjith Nair stepped into his current role as Director Operations and SCM, South Asia at Avery Dennison, based in Bengaluru, Karnataka (hybrid). His elevation reflects a steady trajectory of leadership in operations, supply chain, and multi-site execution across India and South Asia.

Immediately prior to this appointment, Renjith served as Director Operations and SCM (Bangladesh & India) for about one year, based in Dhaka. In this role, he led a broad scope covering Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Safety, Compliance and Sustainability, New Product Development & Sourcing, and Supply Chain operations—spanning Demand Planning, Capacity Planning, Production Planning, Warehousing, and EXIM.

Before that, he served as Director Operations & Supply Chain Management (Bangladesh) for over three years, where he led operational excellence and end-to-end supply chain delivery in Bangladesh, strengthening planning, logistics execution, and third-party logistics performance while driving continuous improvement through KPI-led governance.

Earlier, Renjith worked as Head of Operations & Supply Chain in India, managing end-to-end customer fulfillment needs for all units of RBIS India. This role strengthened his leadership in integrated operations and supply chain management, supporting customer commitments with a performance-driven approach.

Renjith’s foundational growth at Avery Dennison was built over more than six years as Senior Manager, SCM, based in Bangalore, where he managed supply chain for three RBIS sites in India. His scope included Purchasing, Sourcing, EXIM Logistics, Inventory Planning, Demand Planning, Capacity Planning, Warehousing, and local logistics, operating in a dynamic environment requiring agility to manage stock-out risks and obsolescence challenges. He emphasized cost efficiency, flexibility, and supply chain resilience through engaged teams and strong governance.

Prior to Avery Dennison, Renjith spent over five years at Brady Corporation, holding roles including Assistant Manager, Manager SCM, and Senior Engineer, where he led sourcing, localisation, new developments, import-export logistics, purchasing, vendor negotiations, and inventory control—building strong expertise in procurement and end-to-end logistics operations.

Earlier, he worked with Wep Peripherals Limited (formerly Wipro Eperipherals Limited) for nearly five years, first as Engineer Production and then as Assistant Manager – Vendor Development, where he handled vendor selection and management, costing, negotiation, price control, value engineering, vendor consolidation and outsourcing, and procurement of components including plastic, sheet metal, aluminum die castings, machined parts, PCB assemblies, transformers, and packaging materials.

He began his professional journey with Reliance Communications, where he worked in customer sales for mobile connections, strengthening his early exposure to business-facing operational execution.
