Greater Houston, Texas, United States, July 2026 — National Tank & Equipment (NTE), part of the Atlas Copco Group, has appointed Leahan Fuqua as Vice President, Human Resources. In her new role, she will lead the People & Culture strategy for the rapidly growing specialty rental organization following its integration into Atlas Copco Group, partnering with executive leadership to drive organizational growth, cultural transformation, talent strategy, leadership development, employee experience, and HR operational excellence across North America.
Leahan brings more than a decade of progressive human resources leadership experience across global technology, manufacturing, industrial, logistics, and distribution organizations. Her expertise spans employee relations, organizational transformation, HR strategy, talent management, leadership development, workforce planning, compliance, and people operations.
Prior to joining National Tank & Equipment, Leahan spent nearly six years with Amazon, where she progressed through several senior HR leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Global Corporate Employee Relations Leader, leading the transformation of Amazon’s global employee relations framework across the company’s 16,000-person infrastructure data center organization. She standardized global case management, strengthened governance, enhanced regional employee relations strategies across LATAM and EMEA, and implemented data-driven initiatives that improved investigation quality, compliance, and employee experience.
Earlier at Amazon, she served as Corporate Employee Relations Investigations Leader, leading a team responsible for managing complex employee relations matters across corporate operations while improving investigation processes and compliance. She also held the roles of Senior HR Investigator (Employee Relations) and Senior HR Business Partner, partnering with business leaders on talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, workforce planning, diversity initiatives, retention, and large-scale HR programs.
Before Amazon, Leahan joined GE Aviation, where she was promoted from Employee Relations Manager to Site Human Resources Manager, advising leadership on HR strategy, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, workforce restructuring, and HR policy implementation during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Earlier in her career, she served as Senior Human Resources Generalist and Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Ingram Micro, leading site HR strategy across employee relations, staffing, engagement, and leadership coaching while supporting large distribution operations.
Leahan began her HR career with Rockwell Automation, where she spent four years progressing through multiple HR leadership roles. She built expertise across talent management, performance management, employee relations, compensation, employee engagement, culture transformation, and HR analytics while supporting North American logistics operations.
Her early professional experience also includes HR and staffing roles with CoWorx Staffing Services, MCM Staffing, LLC, and Ciena Healthcare, where she developed strong foundations in recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, and workforce management.
Leahan is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Capella University, further strengthening her expertise in organizational behavior, leadership, workforce psychology, and people effectiveness.
