Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, February 2026 — Nimesh Mehta has been appointed as Chief Business Officer at Nuvama Asset Management, marking a significant leadership addition as the firm continues to strengthen its growth and distribution capabilities.
In his new role, Nimesh Mehta will lead business strategy, sales, and distribution initiatives, focusing on expanding Nuvama Asset Management’s footprint across asset classes and investor segments. Based in Mumbai, he will play a key role in driving scalable growth, deepening distributor relationships, and strengthening the firm’s customer-centric approach.
Prior to joining Nuvama Asset Management, Nimesh Mehta spent over 12 years at ASK Investment Managers, where he served as Chief Business Officer. During his tenure, he was instrumental in building the firm’s sales and distribution ecosystem across Equity PMS, AIFs, real estate funds, and hedge solutions. Under his leadership, ASK Investment Managers witnessed significant growth in assets under management, profitability, branch expansion, and third-party distribution, while also pioneering digital onboarding initiatives within the alternate investments industry.
Earlier, he held senior leadership roles at Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company, where he served as Senior Vice President & Head – Sales & Distribution and Vice President & National Head – PMS, leading the expansion of PMS, ETF, and mutual fund distribution businesses. His career also includes roles at GE Money as Regional Business Manager, and at Godrej Appliances Ltd as Territory Manager – Sales & Distribution, building a strong foundation in consumer finance and large-scale distribution.
Alongside his corporate leadership journey, Nimesh Mehta is the Founder & CEO of Meri Zimmedari Foundation, a Section 8 not-for-profit organisation focused on education and medical support for underprivileged communities. The foundation has adopted over 130 students for educational support.
He has completed a Digital Strategy & Transformation programme from Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, further strengthening his strategic and digital leadership capabilities.
