Reston, Virginia, United States, November 2024 – Lisa Wilkinson, a veteran of the aerospace and defense industry with nearly two decades of experience, has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at SOS International (SOSi). In her new role, Lisa will lead strategic initiatives across workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and compliance, driving innovation in people and culture strategies for the organization.
Lisa brings a wealth of expertise in M&A organizational design, strategic workforce planning, and creating human-centric experiences. She is a transformational leader, recognized for her ability to align HR strategies with business objectives while fostering a culture of trust and operational excellence.
Before joining SOSi, Lisa served as the Vice President, People & Culture at SES Space & Defense, where she was instrumental in the successful integration of DRS GES into SES Space & Defense following a $450 million acquisition. Her leadership shaped the company’s people and culture philosophy, optimizing organizational design and driving employee engagement.
Prior to that, Lisa spent nearly 15 years at Leonardo DRS, where she rose to the position of Senior Director, Human Resources. During her tenure, she revamped the talent acquisition function, introduced a comprehensive Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging program, and significantly reduced voluntary turnover. Her efforts enhanced employee satisfaction and aligned HR operations with organizational goals.
