Akanksha Jain Appointed as Assistant Vice President - Public Relations and Communications at Swiggy

Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, November 2024 – Swiggy, India’s leading on-demand convenience platform, has welcomed Akanksha Jain as its new Assistant Vice President – Public Relations and Communications. With over 18 years of extensive experience in building and safeguarding brand reputation across India and 30 global markets, Akanksha is set to spearhead Swiggy’s communication strategies, emphasizing brand purpose and sustainability-led initiatives.

Before joining Swiggy, Akanksha held the role of Head of Public Relations and Corporate Communications at BharatPe, where she was the chief architect of brand storytelling and reputation management for over four years. She worked closely with the board to lead corporate communications, crisis management, and CSR initiatives, contributing to BharatPe’s strong market presence.

Previously, Akanksha was the Global Head of PR and Communications at Pine Labs, where she crafted global narratives for the fintech ecosystem, and at MobiKwik, she led PR and communications strategies during the company’s transformational phase from a consumer payments platform to a digital financial services leader.

Her professional milestones also include leading communications and CSR at VLCC, heading PR and marketing at ASKME.com, and playing key roles in Power2SME, John Keells Holdings, and HCL Technologies. Across these organizations, she excelled in implementing innovative campaigns, managing crises, and driving thought leadership initiatives.
