Seattle, WA – Liz Glick has assumed the role of Director of Human Resources Organizational Effectiveness at the Port of Seattle. Glick brings with her a profound depth of experience and a demonstrated history of leading HR functions to align with business strategies. “It is my honor to join such a talented team of Human Resources professionals,” Glick shared about her new role.
Prior to her current position, Liz Glick served as the Assistant Director of Human Resources at the City of Bellevue, Washington, where she led various teams including HR Consulting, the Organizational Development team, and the Recruiting team from September 2021 until April 2024. Her leadership here focused on strategic human resources, project management, and enhancing organizational capabilities across various HR functions.
Before Bellevue, Glick was deeply involved in workforce development as a Program Manager and later as an HR Manager for Organizational Workforce Development, emphasizing employee engagement, learning and development, and talent management during her tenure from March 2017 to September 2021.
Experience at Wells Fargo: Glick’s extensive experience also includes over a decade at Wells Fargo where she undertook several roles including HR Project Manager and HR Consultant/Project Manager, focusing on corporate human resources management, strategic HR initiatives, and project management for enterprise-wide systems and processes.
Earlier Roles and Contributions: Her earlier roles encapsulate a broad range of HR responsibilities at organizations such as Aspen Square Management and EIS Wire & Cable, where she managed payroll systems, employee relations, union negotiations, and safety programs among others.
