Bringing extensive experience from her previous roles across Europe and Australia, Dasselaar is well-positioned to lead HR initiatives across this prestigious cluster which includes Parmelia Hilton Perth, Doubletree by Hilton Perth Northbridge, and Doubletree by Hilton Perth Waterfront.

Dasselaar’s most recent role before joining Hilton Australia was at the Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh – The Caledonian, where she served as the Director of Human Resources for nearly six years. Her tenure here involved overseeing all human resource functions, significantly enhancing employee engagement and operational efficiency.

Prior to her leadership role in Edinburgh, Dasselaar was based at the Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam, where she progressed from a Human Resources Coordinator to Human Resources Manager over a span of three years. Her efforts were pivotal in streamlining HR operations and enhancing workforce development.

Early Career and Educational Foundation: Before her significant stint with the Waldorf Astoria brand, Dasselaar gained foundational HR experience at Hilton Worldwide in Brussels as a Trainee in Corporate Human Resources, where she supported wide-ranging HR functions for Western and Southern Europe.

Dasselaar’s career also includes diverse roles outside the hotel industry, such as a Personal Tailor at The Society Shop in Amsterdam, and operational roles in hospitality during her studies at Stenden University Hotel, enhancing her exposure to various aspects of business and customer service management.
