Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, June 2024 – Lou Nazir has joined UC Health as the new Director of HR Operations. Lou brings over 15 years of extensive experience in human resources and strategic leadership to this new role, ready to enhance HR functions across multiple regions.
Lou Nazir has been with UC Health for over three years. Prior to his current role, he served as the Director of HR Technology for three years, leading the implementation and deployment of HR transformational solutions through Oracle HCM Cloud. His responsibilities included managing large teams, designing HR applications, and driving strategic communications and change management initiatives.
Before that, Lou worked at Accenture as a Manager, Oracle HCM Cloud for nearly two years. He was responsible for designing and deploying HR solutions, partnering with senior management, and managing global teams. His expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud applications was instrumental in solving complex business problems.
Lou also had a significant tenure at Macy’s, where he held various roles for over nine years. As the Director of HR Technology, he served as a strategic technology partner with internal stakeholders, led a team of Oracle HCM Cloud experts, and advised senior management on strategic plans. Prior to that, he was the Product Manager, HR Technology, where he led technical projects for Talent Management and Learning functions, created functional requirements, and managed project timelines.
Earlier in his career at Macy’s, Lou held the position of Benefits Functional Lead, HR Technology. He led the successful implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud for the Benefits function, designed test scenarios, and collaborated with internal Centers of Expertise to influence system enhancements. He also served as the Senior Manager, Recruitment Brand Marketing and the Senior Manager, Recruitment Support Center, where he managed advertising and marketing efforts, facilitated relationships with external partners, and led special projects to enhance applicant experience.
Lou started his career at Macy’s as the Manager, Recruitment Logistics, where he managed travel logistics for over 1,000 candidates annually, supervised metrics reporting, and led candidate relationship management systems. He also participated in the Human Resources Executive Development Program, rotating in different HR areas to gain a comprehensive understanding of the organization.
