Low Carbon, a leading global renewable energy company, has appointed Annabel Wiscarson as the new CEO of its investment arm, Low Carbon Investment Management (LCIM), effective April 2024.
Wiscarson will be a key member of the Low Carbon Board, directly reporting to Roy Bedlow, the founder and Chief Executive of Low Carbon.
Wiscarson brings extensive experience from her tenure at Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), where she led the Investor Relations Group for five years. Her career is distinguished by her roles in major global investment management firms, including the establishment and leadership of the Global Relationship Group in Europe for IFM Investors, following an early career phase at Macquarie.
This strategic appointment coincides with the recent hiring of Neil Brown as Head of Capital Formation. Brown, reporting to Bedlow as well, is tasked with enhancing and expanding investor relations globally.
Annabel Wiscarson expressed enthusiasm about her new role, emphasizing her career-long focus on infrastructure investment strategies that not only meet investor needs but also contribute to the development of essential infrastructure worldwide. She sees her move to Low Carbon as an opportunity to leverage her extensive experience towards fostering a world powered by clean energy.

Bedlow expressed his confidence in the strengthened executive team, which includes Wiscarson, Brown, and Chairman Brian Clarke, to meet investor needs with renewable energy delivery at scale.
